Johnny went to visit Laura at her home in Fallon, Nevada, after about 2 1/2 months of chatting online. It is just a short jaunt of about 616 miles and 11-12hrs of driving time between us. This is the start of our journey, the first Lovecation took place in Fallon.

This is the statue of Saint Joseph at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fallon, where Laura prayed right before receiving Johnny's first message on Catholic Match. She left everything in God's hands that morning with Jesus' words, "Not my will be done but thine." Her prayer was answered almost immediately, and we believe Saint Joseph brought us together.

After 5:00 Mass on Saturday, June 1st, Johnny got down on one knee and proposed to Laura. She said yes, of course! Johnny proposed in front of the statue of Saint Joseph at Saint Theresa's Catholic Church. He wanted to include Saint Joseph, the saint who was instrumental in bringing us together. Johnny's mom captured the moment in this photo.

Lovecation Part 6. Laura drove to Idaho to visit Johnny in October. We had an engaged encounter weekend in Cottonwood, so we stayed with Laura's Aunt Cathy for a couple of days before heading over to Orofino for the rest of the week.

We spent a lot of time working on renovating a house this trip so we didn't get as many photos, but we still managed a few good ones.

Our second fishing trip together on the boat. This time, we caught lots of fish. We lost track but estimated around 40 total. At the end of the day, we each had a fish on our lines at the same time, so we took this picture. It was a cold day, but we had a lot of fun!

Lovecation Part 7. Laura flew to Idaho for Thanksgiving and to help Johnny with the house renovation.

Just a little walk during lunch break. The first three days of this lovecation were work days for Johnny, so Laura spent long hours cleaning and painting at our future house while Johnny was at work. However, we were able to see each other on lunch break a couple of times.
